Jeff and I traveled for an hour to have dinner at Bocuse Restaurant one of the restaurants in the Culinary Institute of America. It's a restaurant that provides students training hours to work in the kitchen as well as working in the front of the house so they can understand real situations. It was also great practice for me to to play dress-up. Black is usually my go-to for a night out, so this time, I challenged myself to be more creative with my look and by adding more colors.
I have been in love with this gypset staple, which turned up very well on an evening dress, heels and even a sparkling #wristparty. For me it's the blend of fashion and art on the sophisticated bold print as well as maintaining a relaxed, laid back approach to life with the loose-fitting floral blouse accompanied by plentiful jewelry: chunky stones - silver cuffs and embellished multiple bracelets. I was absolutely satisfied by the result. When I completed my look, I seemed to resemble a remarkable and panache lady of the fashion house like the Rarebird of Fashion--Iris Apfel. Only I missed to wear her trademark oversized spectacles. Oh...that's nothing more than a day dream as I think of my style idol. I just love her so much and have a dream to walk the same path as her. The path of fashion, individuality and fearlessness to not be afraid to be bold.
